Tricycle Driver

The 3 wheeled short haul taxis that clog the streets of Manila and other towns in the Philippines. Last I heard there were 55,000 registered tricycles in Manila alone. Costing from 20 to 50 pesos per hire they can carry up to 6 passengers if a bit of a tight squeeze.

Tricycle Rank

125 cc motor bikes with a covered side car are one of the most common sigyts on the Streets of Manila. These short haul taxis, known as tricycles or trikes, will for 20 to 50 pesos take you anywhere within a 10km radius. Scores of them sit out side supermarkets, markets and malls awaiting fares.

Palayok

A children's game often played at street fiestas in which a palayok (clay pot) filled with candies is hung on a string and blindfolded contestants armed with a stick attempt to smash the pot releasing the candies for the fleet footed ankle biters to gather when they hit the ground.
